Safety helmet colours on Civcons Design members’ sites should adhere to the following colour scheme on all new (and existing, where practicable) sites:
Black helmet is worn by site supervisors;
The orange helmet is worn by Slingers/Signallers;
White helmet is for Site Managers, Competent Operatives and Vehicle Marshalls (distinguished by wearing a different coloured high visibility vest)
The blue helmet is worn by all those coming to the site who do not fall into the above categories;
Green is for the monthly safety award winner.
