Construction seen through women’s eyes
Sketches

Whenever we say “constructions”, we always think of men because they make these “constructions”.
I stayed many times and thought about what my dream house would look like, from the sketches to the completion of the construction. When I was younger, I dreamed of a prominent place with many floors and a big garden, a house like in the movies, but since I grew up, I consider that a dream house is the one where you feel calm, where you can get rid of all the worries and all the hardships of life.
Nowadays, it isn’t easy to find peace in one place. Each of us needs an intimate space in which to relax or put our thoughts in order. Sometimes you sit and think about what it would be like to have a place of your own, where you can feel at ease, and sit alone to calm down when you are disturbed from all points of view.
If I were to sketch my dream home, I think it would be a simple one-story house with a beautiful garden. There would be the kitchen and the living room on the ground floor, but I think you would also need a bathroom so that you don’t always get tired of going upstairs. Upstairs would be an excellent room for adults, a room for children, a bathroom for children and a bathroom for adults, a relaxation room for adults to spend their time after that a tiring day of work, and finally a space for play for children. In the garden I thought of a gazebo or a terrace where we can sit on hot days, around there are beautiful flowers and plants, a fountain in the middle, and finally, a place where we can build a playground for children or to we can install a swimming pool.
In conclusion, it doesn’t matter what your house is like (complex or simple, big or small). It only issues feeling good and having a good mood when you cross the threshold of your house and are greeted by children or grandchildren. The house is where you spend a lot of time, it is the world you built, and it has to be perfect to feel perfect.
