I am Romanian, I was born in a village forgotten by evolution, and as a child, I saw many women building houses. Young women, older women, more vital or not, carried bags of cement or worked with earth and straw, but all with the same purpose and a lot of dedication. When the time came for my parents to build their home, I noticed my mother’s involvement. She was a simple educated woman, without much schooling, and I was a 6-year-old child, but I remembered a proverb that she said at the time: “The wise woman builds the house. ” 
  I understood that my mother did not refer to the physical aspect of the house but rather to the spiritual form that will dress this house, the music that will sound in our home, and how we will feel like a family within it.
  Today I am a psychology student, and more than that, I became a woman. Critical thinking makes me have questions about anything. I meditated on my mother’s words and deduced how vital the role of women is in areas we neglect and why not.
  The wise woman builds her house!
  We started this challenge with a simple question: How much time does a woman spend in the house?… the answer was regardless of the source: Much, more than men.
  Dear ones, we have the right to the password. We spend hours in houses, apartments or studios. We vacuum, dust, wash or cook, take care of the children and the husband. We also face housing problems. For example, the kitchen is never big enough to cook, or what about the living room? Although it looks spacious, does it offer comfort to my guests? The bathroom becomes tiny when you have to install the table where I change the baby, and the hallway does not allow me to turn the stroller when I go for a walk in the park. And all this accumulated to the endless hours of work, the responsibilities we have in the family and not to forget that we are spouses.
  The construction plan of the house most often belongs to the man or the architect. Can he understand a woman’s needs? Do you realize why we want so many cupboards in the kitchen if the moments when he cooks become almost an Oscar?
  Are we willing to build from the beginning, to modify and rebuild what was not made correctly?
  Let’s ask the men what belongs to us, but let’s not forget that we build together, work in a team, and sometimes we are silent, but the results will be satisfactory, and we will have a convenient house and a fulfilled role.
